Business Innovations Committee

Business Innovations Committee

The Business Innovations Committee's mission is to advance the growth and success of NPMA member businesses by serving as a resource for best practices, providing business-related tools and reference information, and providing peer and industry benchmarks for measuring performance.


By-Laws Committee

By-Laws Committee

The Bylaws Committee shall review NPMA’s governing documents annually and make appropriate recommendations to the Board and membership, as necessary. In addition, the Committee may be called upon to help in the interpretation of the Bylaws.


Communities+ Diversity Council

Communities+ Diversity Council

The NPMA Communities+ Diversity Council educates members about the benefits of diversity within the industry; provides tools for members to increase diversity within their organizations; promotes NPMA membership to minority owned PCO's and improve member benefits to them; and collaborates with other NPMA Committees with special issues and education.


Finance and Audit Committee

Finance and Audit Committee

The Finance and Audit Committee reviews and recommends financial policies to the Board including ensuring adequate internal controls and maintaining financial records in accordance with standard accounting practices.


Fumigation Committee

Fumigation Committee

The Fumigation Committee addresses policies and procedures related to fumigation. This heavily regulated area has had many changes over the past few years and this division works to promote the importance of fumigation and provides information to fumigators.

IDEA Steering Committee

Mission Statement

The IDEA Steering Committee commits to promoting and ensuring a diverse, inclusive, equitable, and accessible environment within NPMA. The committee will work towards identifying, recommending, and providing feedback on implementing, and monitoring initiatives and strategies that foster an inclusive culture, eliminate barriers, and promote equal opportunities for all members of our organization in collaboration with NPMA staff and committees. 


Leadership Networking Community Council (LNC)

Leadership Networking Community Council (LNC)

The Leadership Networking Community works to upgrade the professionalism of the pest management industry by promoting access and increased involvement in NPMA; identifying, motivating and developing an engaged membership; providing networking opportunities; teaching skills that are applicable to your business, personal development, the community and NPMA; and facilitating the information exchange between generations of managers and owners.


Marketing to Membership Committee

Marketing to Membership Committee

The Marketing to Membership committee is charged with promoting NPMA’s benefits and programs to the pest management industry by developing messaging strategies and ensuring the relevance and resonance of those strategies through constant evaluation.


Nominating Committee

Nominating Committee

The Nominating Committee is responsible for nominating qualified individuals to serve as Directors of the Board and a Secretary to serve as an officer of the Association.



PestVets Council

PestVets Council

PestVets actively promotes the recruitment of veterans to member companies and supports those recruitment efforts through various education and training opportunities. 


Professional Women in Pest Management Council (PWIPM)

Professional Women in Pest Management Council (PWIPM)

PWIPM works to attract, develop and support women in the pest management industry through educational programs, resources and peer networking.


Public Policy Committee

Public Policy Committee

The Public Policy committee is responsible for guiding the association’s public policy agenda. They prioritize the issues NPMA pursues; assist in formulating persuasive public policy-related arguments and positions; and actively encourage NPMA members to participate in advocacy-related actions.  


Recruitment & Retention Committee

Recruitment & Retention Committee

The mission of the Recruitment and Retention Committee is to help ensure continual industry growth and assist all NPMA members in attracting, developing and retaining top talent by sharing practices and resources to achieve success.


Technical Committee

Technical Committee

The Technical Committee addresses industry issues that are entomological or technical in nature, develops and proposes new technical resources and provides insight into pest management operations as resources and programs are developed.


Wildlife Committee

Wildlife Committee

The Wildlife Committee addresses the specialty of wildlife management, which includes any animal not covered by the traditional pest control license.
